Welcome to NCC's On-Line Education Program!

Optimal computer requirements

1.     Browser "Cookies" Must Be On or Enabled - a common problem

       for AOL and Hotmail.

2.     If accessing from your employer's computer, consult with your IT

Department before use.  You may have to delete the temporary

cookies each time an order is placed on the same computer.

3.     Remember to put bgrossklags@nccnet.org into your address book

or approved email list to insure receipt of the emails.  Check your

bulk, junk and delete inboxes if you don’t receive them or go to

the online testing center to download

4.     Use latest version of your web browser.

5.     Run your browser at full screen.

6.     Set your screen resolution to at least 800 x 600 or set it at 1024

x 768 if you are not seeing the full screen.

7.     Close all other applications.

8.     How fast the system works depends on your processor speed.

9.     Click on the troubleshooting link below for answers for error messages.

It is recommended that you use your NCC ID# without letters and no dashes or spaces for the ID# where  requested in the order.  This will be your access number to online modules.  Putting non-alphanumeric characters as part of the ID# can cause access to be denied or errors to occur.  Please do not use them.

Purchasing the tests

1.     Review the objectives, content outline and the title of the

reading material for the available modules (click on the

        list at the right).

2.     Once you have identified the module you wish to purchase,

click on the link to the On-Line Store (at bottom of page).

3.     Once in the store, click on “On-Line Education” and select the

module you wish to purchase.  The store will ask for your NCC

ID# (or you may use your social security number if you are NOT

certified by NCC) as part of the order (numbers only).  All 9

digits of this number MUST be entered for the system to work.

You must remember the  number you enter – it is the access

to your tests.  Once your order has been completed, you may

        leave the website.

4.     You will receive two (2) emails confirming your order.  The

first email is your invoice and has your password and link

to the reading material.  The second email will have your

password and link to the test.  DO NOT LOSE THESE

EMAILS!  NCC does  NOT have a record of your passwords.

Now you have two (2) ways of accessing your reading material and tests -

1.     Click on the download link in the email and download the reading

material.  After reading the materials and you are ready to take

the test, click on the test link in the email and take the test.

(We suggest that you print the test, review it and record your

answers there first before logging-in and actually taking the test.

As long as you do NOT click on the submit button, this will NOT

count as one of your two tries.)

OR

2.     Log into the On-Line Testing Center by clicking on the link on the

home page.  You will be asked enter your last name and the ID#

you used to order the module.

Here you can review previous modules you have passed and

download a certificate for them.  You can also access the reading

material and/or test for any module you have purchased, but not

taken yet.  And you can order additional on-line modules!

Please note:  If you have used multiple ID#s when ordering, you will

have to log-in using each of them to access past modules.

Important Rules You Should Know

  1. It is your responsibility to remember your password.  If you misplace the information, you will need to establish a new one and begin the registration process over again. All fees will be forfeited.
  2. You are given 2 times to login to the download of reading materials and 2 times to submit the test.  You can access the test and print it and this will not count towards your two tries as long as you do NOT click the submit module.
  3. The 2008 modules (those ending in 08 number) will NOT be sold after midnight on 12/31/2008 and will no longer be accessible.  You must submit your answers by midnight on 12/31/2008 in order to receive credit. We are unable to score the modules after midnight on 12/31/2008. 09 numbered modules will continued to be offered. They will expire 12/31/09.
  4. You must receive a score of 70% in order to receive a passing grade.  If you fail the examination, your password will allow you ONE more attempt to pass the test before having to pay all fees again.
  5. At the successful conclusion of the examination, you will receive a certificate of continuing education for 5,  10 or 15 contact hours via email.   Or you can access from the on-line testing center.
  6. There are no refunds for the NCC On-line Education Program.
